Itinerary
3 nights at Machaba Camp
Located just north of the Moremi Game Reserve lies the Khwai Conservancy area. While Khwai does not officially belong to Moremi Game Reserve, it can be viewed as an extension as there are no fences and animals roam free. The wildlife experience in Khwai is unlike any other, and one can participate in walking safaris, off-road driving and night drives. Vegetation is varied, with dry land interspersed with permanent and seasonal swamps, which results in a wide variety of fauna and flora. The rainy season (Nov - Apr) transforms the lush scenery with wildflowers, powerful thundershowers and breath-taking sunsets.
Included Services:
3 nights at Ngoma Safari Lodge
The Chobe River Front in Botswana runs along the northernmost part of Chobe National Park. In addition to being the country's second-largest park, it offers spectacular game viewing all year round, as it is home to some of the largest wildlife populations in Africa. Lions, Leopards, Spotted Hyenas, and Cheetahs live here in high numbers. The park also hosts antelope species such as Sable, Puku, Tsessebe, Eland and the rare Chobe Bushbuck. A notable characteristic of the region is the massive concentration of elephants. In this park, there are the most significant surviving populations of elephants in the world.
Included Services:
2 nights at The Elephant Camp
Victoria Falls is a magnificent sight of awe-inspiring beauty on the Zambezi River, forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The vast, basalt cliffs over which the falls thunder turn the Zambezi from a placid river into rapids that carve their way through dramatic gorges. The falls have been declared a National Park and World Heritage Site and are also one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. At the falls, you'll find activities like swimming, bungee jumping, and zip-lining. Additionally, there are calmer activities, including sunset cruises, walking tours and elephants interactions.
Other things to do at this location:
3 nights at Deteema Springs Camp
Zimbabwe's largest wildlife park, Hwange National Park, lies between the famous Victoria Falls and Bulawayo. The western part of the park stands at a high altitude characterized by steep slopes and rocky outcrops, primarily covered by Mopane forest. The Tsamhole wilderness area, located on the western boundary, is home to Reedbuck Vlei, a natural spring feeding into the Deka River. Many buffalo, giraffe, zebra, waterbuck and eland live on the drier western edge of the park. It is an ideal destination for safaris and bush walks, and there are plenty of accommodation options in the west due to its abundance of water.
