Our Social Responsibility
We at ZULA are committed to minimising tourism’s environmental and social impact, ensuring the wellbeing of communities, the ecosystem, and wildlife. We engage in community tourism projects, resulting in positive long-term effects. When booking with ZULA, a certain amount of every booking’s profit goes to Africa Foundation, an organisation whose aim is to uplift and up-skill our people so that they can empower local conservation communities. The foundation works in 73 communities amongst six Southern and Eastern African countries.
Additionally, ZULA takes care of its local communities and environment and is dedicated to working with local people in order to sustain their livelihoods. Our travel document pouches for example are purchased from a very rural community in Swaziland, South Africa, who earn their livings through their sewing work.

EMED RESCUE COVER NAMIBIA:
EMED Rescue24 is a company that provides emergency medical and rescue services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Considering the remoteness of some accommodation establishments and the vast distances travelled in Namibia, ZULA offers this EMED service as support if you need medical assistance. Emergency contact details and procedures will be included in your travel documents, so you will be able to refer to them if needed. EMED will cover your transportation expenses to a hospital, but all of your medical expenses once you are there will be your responsibility. Travel insurance that covers possible medical expenses is recommended.
