2 nights at Bellevue Forest Reserve - Big 5 Game Reserve

The Eastern Cape is the second largest province of South Africa. It is characterised by hilly grasslands and sheer cliffs falling to white, unspoilt beaches. It boasts several national parks and open areas, ideal for hiking, photographic opportunities and mountain biking. Additionally, the only ski resort in the country, Tiffindell, is found here. Giraffe walks are one of the main reasons for visiting, as it is one of the few places in the world that offers it. Whether you're in the mood for a seaside escape or an encounter with the Big Five, you're sure to find what you're looking for in the Eastern Cape.

2 nights at Crawford's Beach Lodge

Chintsa is a village set in the Wild Coast region of the Eastern Cape province. Here, the laid-back atmosphere and untouched white beaches captivate its audience with its serenity and magical ambience. The exciting outdoor adventures, cultural encounters and local restaurants make Chintsa one of the country's top coastal destinations. The local Emerald Vale Brewery is a must-visit! And do the brewery tour if you have the time! When you are not riding horses on the beach, fishing in the sea, or walking along the coastline, you're dining in one of the local restaurants, wondering why you've never been here before.

2 nights at Nqabara Eco River Lodge

The Wild Coast, also known as the Transkei, is a 250-kilometre stretch of coastline north of East London, characterized by unspoilt beaches, lazy lagoons and rocky headlands. The most notable part of the Wild Coast is the 'Hole in the Wall', an area that boasts an extraordinary natural arch - big enough for a sailboat to pass underneath. The area is well known for its magnificent hiking and cycling trails, canoeing, fishing, surfing and diving. Winters are warm and sunny, with the Sardine Run attracting a frenzy of activity from seals, dolphins and predatory fish as it moves slowly north along the coast.

2 nights at The Gorge Private Game Lodge & Spa

One of KwaZulu Natal's most spectacular natural settings is the scenic Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve, which lies inland from Port Shepstone. Despite its remote location, it is situated at the head of an exquisite river bordered by dense coastal bush and forests. There is a wealth of smaller wildlife species, and occasionally even leopards have been sighted. The breathtaking scenery along the river makes this a photographers paradise. Ziplining through the gorge is the most popular activity, with game drives and hikes also on offer. Plenty of viewing sites ensure that you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the area.
