Each day begins with a leisurely walk of 3-4 hours with an armed guide. Walking through the bush highlights your senses, and you will find that you’ll hear better, smell better, and your eyes will gradually begin to see wildlife more clearly at a distance. Stops for snacks and drinks get you through the day until brunch is served back at camp. Then, after some much-needed ‘me’ time spent reading or snoozing in your tent, you’ll have tea before going for a 2-3 hour walk in the late afternoon, ending at a viewpoint to enjoy the sunset. Upon returning to camp, you will have time to freshen up before an evening around the campfire.
One should do this:
because walking safaris offered by Simbavati are led by the most knowledgeable guides. Four tents, each with an en-suite bathroom, make this an intimate and secluded experience.
