Langa is not to be missed. During the 4-hour tour, you’ll see four different housing and socio-economic areas, including worker hostels and informal settlements as well as visit the lively Gugu Se Thebe Community Centre. Along the way, you will stop for a beer at a local shabeen and greet the locals in their language isiXhosa. As soon as you’ve worked up an appetite, you will enjoy local cuisine at the restaurant of a local family who entertains with their traditional music stories of the past. Its cultural offering and sense of community will leave you with lasting memories.
