In the early hours of the morning, leave with your guide to embark on an exciting excursion exploring parts of the Hoanib River in search of the elusive black rhino and desert-adapted elephants. Upon spotting the animals, you will exit the vehicle and track on foot, closely and in silence. Finding these animals in a desert habitat is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Later, the guide prepares camp along the edge of the riverbanks while you enjoy your evening around the fire listening to the sounds of the wild and star gazing. Accommodation is provided in comfortable dome-shaped tents with a stretcher bed, duvet, and pillow.
One should do this:
because seeing both the elephant and rhino in the desert can be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This is a truly amazing opportunity for anyone who gets the chance to participate and view these beauties up close.
